Philosophy
At Tiny Tots Academy our Philosophy reflects our beliefs in providing a holistic approach to provide and maintain the highest quality care and education for all children in our service. As educators we are committed to providing a place where all children and their families feel welcomed, important, and respected.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and recognise the Kaurna people. As a team we pay our respects to the Elders, past, present, and future for they hold the memories, traditions, and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across our nation.

Our Mission

Tiny Tots Academy strives to ensure that we provide a centre that is welcoming, caring and has a sense of warmth for all our children, families, and educators as they enter our doors. We aim to provide a safe place that is supportive and fosters relationships through open communication and working partnerships with children and their families.
Our Values

We strongly value and respect children’s cultural and religious backgrounds and believe all children should be treated equally and be provided with the same education regardless of gender, culture, religion and abilities. We respect that each child will learn in their own individual way and at their own pace. We are committed to extending each child’s learning through meaningful play, based on their own individual strengths and interests.
“I am just Issac”

We believe in creating an environment that is supportive of an ongoing culture of sustainability, connectedness, and inclusion. To embrace the mind and body of each individual child to develop a positive sense of belonging to their self, others, and the wider community. We are continuously striving to develop sustainable practices throughout our service. To raise awareness and teach our children the importance of being sustainable and the impact it can have on our environment, and in the long run have a positive influence on our planet earth. We strongly believe that learning
can happen anytime, anywhere. We utilise play based learning and intentional teaching to maximise all children’s learning opportunities.

We believe families are the most important influence in a child’s life and are viewed as the primary information source. We respect their decisions, values, beliefs and cultural diversity. We strive to use this knowledge to provide a ‘Family like environment’ for all the children attending our centre. We believe that educators, children and families collaborate in shared decision making to support children’s learning, development and overall wellbeing. These partnerships are always formed for the best interests of the children.
