Communication

Communication is key between parents and educators. It assists in our educators being able to provide a high standard of care for all children by knowing their interests, routines and any other important information that may affect them. At Tiny Tots, there are many ways in which we communicate with our families to ensure that all children’s information is known by educators, as well as various ways to inform families about their child’s day at care.
Some examples of how we communicate are:
- Verbal conversations
- Daily records sheet (the children’s sleep times, meals etc are all recorded on these sheets daily that parents can refer to)
- Parent pockets
- Communication books
- Program suggestion / feedback sheets
- Suggestion box
- Through Owna APP
We also have many forms of correspondence for families so that they can be aware of what is happening at the centre such as emails, signs on our front door and our Facebook page.
