Children are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that is weather appropriate and that is ok to get a bit dirty! The best shoes are sneakers or sandals – shoes that allow physical play such as running and climbing.
If you name all your child’s items, this can help staff to determine who’s item is whose.
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to breastfeed your child at the centre if you chose to do so 🙂
We work with the parents on this milestone and do everything we can to assist the child in feeling supported during this time. If your child is toilet training, we just ask that you pack plenty of spare clothes (including shoes) in case those little accidents happen.
We follow the child’s home routine so if your child sleeps at home, they may sleep at care. If they don’t, activities are set up for the children who do not sleep.
When filling out the enrolment form, there is a section for ‘collection authorities’. Only people on this form have the authority to collect your child, and photo ID must be shown at time of arrival to collect the child. Parents should inform staff if someone other than themselves will be collecting their child at the end of the day.
Parents should begin the enrolment process as soon as they start thinking about child care. This way there is time for the orientation and transition process, and will also give you a higher chance of securing the booking days that you will need. You can visit our enrolment page here
